Interactive WYWIWYG (What you want is what you get!...lol)

Blurb

Have you ever wished you could sketch something on screen quickly and having the flexibility of just scrapping it altogether and start anew? Well, project WYWIWYG is exactly that. It is an interactive interface design maker. Have you ever use WACOM tablet? Have you ever used Dreamweaver? Project WYWIWYG is a convergence of both technologies.

Description

The intended audience for this project is for corporate use. A graphic or web designer may use this tool at the tip of their hand and easily displayed on screen. The project will be developed using Flash Actionscript 3.0 and Illustrator. Actionscript 3.0 programming is choosen for its compatibility with most computer platform be it Windows or Macintosh. Meanwhile, Illustrator is employed to enable scalable visual components.

Step 1: Users will choose an appropriate interface layout - skeleton - and colour/texture combination - skin. Each skeleton will fall under one of four categories: Gallery, Content-Based, Editorial or Commercial. Organizing the skeletons according to company nature will help our clients find the most appropriate layout for their purpose.

Step 2: The user submits this proposal to WYWIWYG, and the designers create a fully functional website in the spirit of Step 1 selection. To further help our clients visualize their company’s website, they will have the option to drag and drop a variety of widgets onto the screen. This includes navigation menus, static images, text as well as search capabilities.

Understanding the nature of graphic design is to offer multiple solutions to a single problem. Our project is centered around this concept. Our goal is to render the creative process more time and cost efficient, and provide the most suitable response to our clients’ needs.
